The benefits of socks

Product tests

Based at the Btwin Village in Lille, our product design team is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to create products that respond to our users’ needs and eliminate hindrances to a good cycling experience.
We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting them to real world conditions, like the ones you experience on your bike, can we continuously improve our products.

Decent for the money
Carlos (United Kingdom) Used for More than 2 years
These are warm and durable. They don't look very sporty and the material could be a bit more elastic.
Cosy toes
Graham (United Kingdom) Used for 4 to 6 months
Very comfy socks keep feet & toes lovely and warm. There good all round socks for both sports & general wearing.

Good quality
Not warm socks
Stefano (United Kingdom) Used for 2 week or less
Quality is good for the price. However, not happy with their thermal properties - 3 hours ride with approximately 11 degrees and my toes were really cold.
Not suitable for cold weather
Clifford (United Kingdom) Used for 2 week or less
First ride in these socks completed today. Average temperature was around 6 degrees.
I couldn't feel my toes after an hour. They're as good as my normal cycling socks so definitely not suitable for winter
Response of the brand

I'm sorry to hear your feet were cold after an hour of cycling. As a regular cyclist myself I can appreciate how uncomfortable cold feet can be.

With a blend of merino wool and thermalite, these socks will provide more insulation than a standard summer cycling sock. If you add wind chill and the fact many road cycling shoes have ventilation holes, cold air will still be a factor. For this reason a neoprene overshoe is recommended to provide an excellent barrier against the cold.

If not some cyclists tape up the holes inside their shoes as an added measure.

If you are unsatisfied with your socks please feel free to return them to store with your receipt for a refund or exchange.

Ok winter socks
Kieran (United Kingdom) Used for 3 to 8 weeks
Nice fit and good quality but toes still got cold in minus temps even with overshoes. Be good as an early spring/late summer sock.
