We've had several pairs of these and they keep kids dry and are a lot warmer than wellies. Obviously they're not waterproof as high up as wellies but do a very good job.

Ces bottes ont bien fait le job 1 semaine dans les Alpes (froid sec). Par contre en ville pour les jours pluvieux d'hiver (froid humide) mon fils avait systématiquement froid aux pieds. Je précise que nous avons retenu ce modèle car la semelle est souple et permet de marcher f
acilement, contrairement aux SH500, sans doute + chaudes, mais dont la semelle est très raide, rendant la marche difficile.
