thlon, we hold ourselves to high standards when it comes to product quality and customer satisfaction. To explain you better about the use, the heating process activates upon contact with the air: 1. Remove the warmer from the package and shake it 5-6 times to activate the heating process. 2. For an optimum heating temperature, give the process time to get started in the open air for around 10 minutes before the start of your outdoor activity. Never glue the warmer directly to the skin. Ideally stick it to the first layer (T-Shirt, shirt, …), on the outside. The other layers (jumper, fleece, jacket …) can therefore keep the heat in. The exothermic reaction consumes the activated charcoal and oxidises the iron. I hope my answer provided a solution. Do reach out to us for any more clarification please. Many people from us bought this , and it worked only for few , we we camping at less than 5 C , as per product it needs to get warm at 20 C for 20 mins to be effective, it I can warm something to 20 C while being at 5 C why would I need this? Tricky product, if you get lucky i

r around 10 minutes before the start of your outdoor activity, ideally in an ambient environment of around 20°C. This could also mean to say that when you are about to start the activity and while doing camping inside the tents or sleeping bags, package needs to get little warm and should be activated then and there to come into the process of heating.
