Our designer horseback riders designed this shine conditioner to make brushing the mane and tail easy and/or make the coat shine.

For optimal use, we recommend shampooing the mane before the first use. Allow mane to dry before applying the detangler. Wait for hair to dry completely before brushing. Repeat every 3 days to prevent the mane and tail from picking up dust and straw and tangling.

The rug is lined in areas where horses lose the most body heat. It’s warmest on the horse’s back and coolest around its belly.

Chest fasteners: 1 rip-tab flap to prevent chafing and 2 adjustable quick-release buckles. 

Other fasteners: Adjustable cross surcingles. The hook-and-eye fastenings on the cross surcingles feature rubber rein stops that prevent them from unhooking unexpectedly.

Clean regularly to prevent accumulation of dried urine and manure. A dirty rug can also cause skin irritation. Use a brush to remove any dust before removing the rug. All Fouganza rugs are machine washable at 30°C.

Breathability

This fly mask was designed to protect your horse’s eyes and ears from flying insects.

Maximum wash temperature 95°C. Normal cycle.

Always check to make sure that the mask is correctly positioned, especially during prolonged use. If possible, remove it in the evening.

The mask should be at least 2 cm from your horse’s eyes to avoid injury.

Type of Noseband

After checking your horse's size:
Step 1: clean your leathers with glycerin soap and a sponge. Leave to dry. Step 2: (essential for dry, cracked or new leather. Not recommended for leather that is already soft). Apply oil using a cloth, paying particular attention to the underside of the leather. Leave to seep in. STEP 3: For all types of leather: Apply grease using a cloth, leave to seep in, then buff to a bright shine. Recommended once per month.

Tips before first use or to restore leathers

Oil new leather using plant-based neatsfoot-type oil after every use. Clean regularly using glycerin soap. Moisturize regularly using leather milk. Nourish using dubbin or leather balm.

Your choice of noseband should be adapted to the shape of the horse and their level of training. The noseband should never be too tight, as the horse should be able to mouth the bit in order to work relaxed.
