This innovative product was designed by observing and asking cyclists about their needs. Our platform adapters allow you to instantly transform your sports bike into a commuter bike. It’s a fun and easy way to alternate bike travel and exercise every day of the week!

Why these platform adapters?

Our platform adapters attach to all models of cageless Shimano SPD-compatible clipless pedals.
For each pedal,
1/ Simply place the platform over the pedal
2/ Engage first the back, then the front
3/ Place the front part in the right direction (open tab towards the inside of the bike)
4/ Then lock the tab onto the platform in a single motion, with no effort at all!

Check the sidewall for tire information (diameter and width). For example, 700x35 means that the tire is 700 mm in diameter and 35-mm wide.
The dimensions in mm (ETRTO international unit) are also on the tire sidewall.
For example, 36-622 means that the tire is 35-mm wide with a 622-mm inner diameter (approx. 700 x 35).

How to choose your inner tube

Remove the old inner tube using Btwin tire levers.

Removing an inner tube

Check the condition of your tire and replace it if necessary. 
Make sure no objects are lodged in the tire.
Check the condition of your tire rim strip.
A rim strip that’s even slightly bent can cause punctures.
Check that your rim doesn’t have any other issues that could damage your inner tube.

Checks to carry out before installing an inner tube

Watch our video before you start.
Pre-inflate the inner tube slightly to avoid pinching.
Make sure you’re using the correct valve for your rim and then insert it.
Put the entire inner tube inside the tire so that it fits inside the rim.
Take care not to pinch the inner tube when installing it.

Installing the inner tube

Start installing the tire at the valve.
Finish installing the tire across from the valve to avoid pinching the inner tube.
Never install your tire with a tool or a tire lever, as you risk pinching or puncturing the inner tube.

Installing the tire

Carefully inflate your tire to the pressure recommended by the manufacturer (visible on the tire sidewall in PSI or bars: 1 bar = 14.51 PSI).
Regularly check that your tire is in the correct position as you inflate it.

Inflating the tire

To avoid punctures from pinching and for the best tire performance, we recommend checking your tires and inflating them to the suggested pressure before every ride.

This inner tube is suitable for a 700 diameter tire with a 23 to 32 cross-section.

Check the sidewall for tire information (diameter and width). For example, 27.5 x 1.90 means a tire with a 27.5” diameter that is 1.90” wide.
