The neck with its flexible fabrics can be adjusted in 2 ways:
* closing the half zip with its pull cord positioning the "wallet-like” pleats inside the waterproof fabric (depending on the shape of the neck, it is recommended to fold the fabric in your hand to avoid wrinkles)
* closing the smooth outer fabric with the rip-tab.

* the belt is made of flexible neoprene, adjustable by 2 rip-tabs positioned on the right and left of the waistband
* the cuffs are made of a smooth, flexible and waterproof fabric, adjustable by a rip-tab (for small cuffs, the fineness of the fabric allows a clean fold).

There are 2 small fabric straps sewn on each side of the neoprene belt. They are for hanging or sticking mittens or gloves in (hanging mittens or gloves by their rip-tabs), so as to not get in the way before or after practice.

The size of the shoulder pocket was designed so as not to be cumbersome or too heavy in order to not hinder manoeuvres or movement.
Its design and tests were therefore carried out with a standard size penknife, a rope and a snack of 2 cereal bars. The contents remain stable in the pocket and remain accessible.

We set out to design a unique garment with a breathable moss stitch above the arms and a dense pique knit below the sleeves. This choice makes the sweater lightweight and easier to move around in.
A straight knitting process allowed us to achieve a neat finish.

100% mesh knit

We intentionally designed this sweater as a knit garment. The yarn is knitted before the piece is assembled. As a result, we are able eliminate fabric waste.
Its environmental impact is 10% lower than similar products.

What makes this pullover eco-friendly?

The cut is intended to be fairly tight-fitting, while still having a straight cut. For a slouchy fit, choose a larger size.
The 4 collar buttons make it easy to put on.

The Tribord Offshore 900 collection was developed and road-tested by ocean racers in real-life conditions by world-class sailors: Jean-Baptiste Daramy on Class 40, Achille Nebout on Figaro 3, Romain Le Gall and Léo Bothorel on Mini 6.50.

The fabric has a 3-layer membrane and resists water pressure of up to 40,000 mm Schmerber, before and after 5 washes (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure a fabric can withstand, the more waterproof it is.
The product has been tested to withstand 450 L/M²/h rains over 24 hours (3 x 8 hours).

- A neoprene section with a zip and rip-tab that can be adjusted to keep water out. This section reaches up to the mid-neck.
- The “storm” section has a hood and goes right up to the nose for optimal protection. This section can be removed when not in use. The inside of the collar is lined with a soft micro-fleece for extra comfort.
- The collar features rip-tab fasteners.

The hood can be stowed in the jacket’s collar.
The hood can be adjusted at the front around the face to prevent it from blowing off in the wind. The depth can be adjusted as well.
A rigid visor has been integrated into the hood for greater protection.

Adjusting and storing the hood

The neoprene cuff helps keep water out in stormy weather.
A second waterproof layer is added on top. Adjustable rip tabs help protect the neoprene and keep water out.
Tips: if wearing mitts or gloves, wear them between the two sleeve cuffs for extra comfort and to prevent water from entering through any gaps.

Double-sealed cuffs

The shell jacket has 2 large pockets:
- One waterproof front storm pocket with separate compartments that’s easy to access. This pocket contains a removable, waterproof pouch that’s perfect for storing your mobile phone.
- One kangaroo-style hand-warmer pocket. This pocket is fleece-lined and isn’t waterproof.
The pockets are designed to let water escape.

The elbows and forearm sleeves are reinforced for additional resistance.
