Repair

Buoyancy

This adjustable split paddle is designed for beginner SUP enthusiasts looking to cruise or surf small waves.

Paddle Type

To adjust, open the latch, pull the handle to the desired length, and then close the latch. The alignment rail ensures that the handle is properly in line with the blade.
If the handle isn’t secure enough, open the latch and tighten the metal screw.

The paddle length should be around 15-20 cm above your head, e.g.,
a person who is 1.90 m tall adjusts it to approx.
2.10 m; a person who is 1.50 m tall adjusts it to 1.70 m.

Adjustment

To disassemble the paddle, push in the pin on the back of the tube and pull apart.
Disassembled paddles can be easily stored in the SUP bag or the trunk of your car.
The disassembled paddle is 89 cm long.

It is important to rinse your paddle with clean water after use. 
To prevent salt build-up on the tightening bolt, push pin, and inner tubes, rinse the paddle in warm water. This will improve the paddle’s lifespan.

Maintenance

A good paddle is crucial for returning safely to shore. This paddle is only designed to float for a minute, so never leave it floating in the water, or you’ll risk losing it.
If you take a break, leave your paddle on the board, preferably tied to the leash.

Inflation:
This SUP is equipped with a new-generation valve for more security. 
To inflate, open the valve and connect the pump (“In” mode).
For best results, inflate to 15 psi.
Disconnect the pump and replace the cap.

Deflating:
Turn the valve cap 90° clockwise (“Out” mode).
Remove all air by rolling up from the side opposite the valve.
Close the cap.

Fully deflate the board.
Roll up the product to push the air out through the open valve.
Unroll the board and lay out flat. Fold it lengthwise with the fin bases positioned outwards.
Roll up from front to back.
Use the compression strap to keep it rolled up so that it fits into the bag.

reduced the CO2 impact of this product by 15%. We use a lighter drop stitch that’s better suited to the shape of the board and uses less

material. We’ve dope-dyed 50% of the backpack,
a process that involves dyeing thread as it is being produced, rather than by soaking the fabric in large dye baths. Dope dying allows us to use less water and generates less wastewater and CO2.

Electronic devices require extra protection. We recommend placing cellphones in a waterproof pouch before storing in the bag. Cameras should be placed in a small dry bag (5–10 L) inside a larger dry bag (30, 40, or 60 L). Ensure the bags are properly closed and check water resistance using a paper towel before hitting the water.Do not submerge or swim with the bag.

Precautions for electronic devices

To ensure good water resistance:
1/ Tightly roll down the top of the bag 5 times.

2/ Fasten the side buckles. 3/ Fasten the centre buckles.

Leave some air in the bag. The bag should appear inflated when closed: this makes it more watertight and ensures it will float in water.


Fastening system

Various eco-design innovations for the 10 L bag have resulted in 60% reduction of CO2 impact.- The reduction in the number of manufacturing steps has a direct consequence on the decline in necessary resources (water and fuel).
- Using specific non-dyed textiles. The colour is put directly into the outer PVC layer. The dye is one of the most polluting textile processes, so avoiding this step makes it possible to save lots of CO2.

The 5 L and 10 L bags can be placed inside a 30, 40, or 60 L bag to provide extra waterproof protection and to keep items organized.
