When we are in the water, we lose more than half of our body heat through our extremities (feet, hands, head). How to choose the right booties
The first selection criterion when choosing a surf bootie is water temperature. Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year. Systematically ensure that the water temperature at your location corresponds to the recommended temperature range: Warm water above 20°C. Temperate water between 17 and 22°C. Cold water between 12 and 17°C. Very cold water between 7 and 12°C. Visit the site seatemperature.org to find out the temperature of your location.
Choose the right size
A surfing wetsuit should be a very tight fit to ensure the best possible thermal efficiency. It is perfectly normal for it to feel like they are too tight when tried on dry. Choose well-adjusted boots to ensure better support and avoid their being filled with water when surfing.
Materials
3 mm surf booties are made from neoprene for improved comfort during use. The neoprene is lined with synthetic fabric for added resistance to wear. Neoprene thickness: 3 mm. The neoprene is made from an elastomer foam with insulating properties. We test and guarantee the quality of our neoprene materials.
Watertight assembly
The seams are stitched and glued for a watertight seal and durability. The seams are blind-stitched. The thread does not go all the way through the neoprene, preventing water from getting through. The absence of threads on the inside avoids irritation and chafing. Patches for comfort and reinforcement are strategically placed on the inside in sensitive areas.Warning: water can, however, come through the zip.

Si on ne le choisit pas trop grand, ce chausson reste assez stable sur le pied, il roule un peu lors des appuis brutaux dans les footstraps. Il accroche peu lors du retrait du pied du footstrap, ce qui est une bonne chose. La semelle est une des plus résistante à l'abrasion qu
e j'ai essayée, bien qu'elle soit fine. C'est la deuxième paire que j'achète pour un usage intensif. On peut retourner le chausson complètement pour séchage, les narines disent merci.
