We have used two of these for the last 3 years. They are a lovely paddle and just nicer to handle than aluminium.

I bought this to replace my standard Itiwit paddle that I had been quite happy with for river paddling, until I bent it while using it as a brace to get out on a high dock. Though to be honest I had been longing for a lighter, more ergonomic paddle for a while for longer trips

. This one is so nice - it literally feels like I'm cheating - I go so much quicker, with so much less effort, and can paddle for hours without feeling like my arms are getting heavy. 2 things to note: 1) as others have said - maybe take a screwdriver out on your first paddle as the adjustable clip did slip a bit, and just needed tightening. Using my keys was sufficient to not ruin that first trip, but screwdriver was better. 2) the drip rings are right up against the blade, and not moveable - so if you have a high angle paddle style, or tend to go deeper as you tire, as I do, you'll get splashed. But I wouldn't let either of those put you off. Adjusting my technique to suit it improved my tracking anyway. I love it, and I paddle more often, and for longer, than I ever did before, as it is so much more enjoyable. You'll be amazed! I wish I'd switched long ago!

tement résisté aux multiples embarquements/débarquements, conditions météo et divers passages techniques (récemment encore l'Ognon et ses multiples seuils) , quelques minimes traces d'usure. Le réglage pour orienter les pales est très pratique selon la technique utilisée et surtout la météo pour naviguer en cas de grand vent. Elle serait presque parfaite si le clip de fermeture ne présentait pas le défaut d'avoir une vis trop courte qu'il faut régulièrement resserrer (trop serré = ne ferme plus) car elle se dévisse après plusieurs heures de navigation et j'en ai déjà perdu un sur l'eau > j'ai dû continuer en maintenant les deux pagaies contre le vent et la vague = pb de sécurité pour lequel j'espère que les équipes techniques trouveront une solution :-)
