Non standard valve

The valve of this tube doesn't work with normal air pumps. This was not made clear! What's worse is that this was to replace an inner tube on a decathlon bike, how is not the same as the original? The tube is now rubbish and is now in the bin. I had to go to halfords to get a
normal replacement inner tube. I only assume this valve is to force you to also buy a compatible decathlon pump. I used to like Decathlon but this has really put me off the brand.
