- The band width is 24 mm (0.95”).
- It provides 25 kg (55 lb) of resistance, meaning that you need to apply a force of 25 kg (55 lb) to stretch the elastic to double its length.

Make sure it is well secured so that it doesn’t come unhooked while you are exercising, for example if you are using it to assist you with exercises such as pull-ups.

Check for wear (breaks or white areas) to make sure your band doesn’t break while you’re exercising.

Safe band use

Weight training exercises with a 25 kg (55 lb) band are very demanding. If you’re just starting out, a lower resistance is more appropriate. 
If you’re experienced and are looking for a challenge, this band is for you!
If you want to lighten your load during pull-ups, for example, we recommend the 25 kg (55 lb) band.

Why choose a 25 kg (55 lb) band?

The resistance of the 25 kg (55 lb) band can help you lighten your load during pull-ups on a bar (ref: 8385106) or a rack (ref: 8651534), or when starting out with an ab wheel (ref: 8660093). It can also help lighten the load on a dip bar (ref: 8584544).
The greater the resistance of the band, the easier the exercise will be.

What accessories can you use with the 25 kg (55 lb) band?

Our bands are not tested for chlorine resistance, so we do not recommend using them in a pool.
Do not store outdoors or in direct sunlight.

Avoid contact with sharp or abrasive objects.

Storing and using bands to extend their life span

Try the following workout with a 25 kg (55 lb) band: 
- Deadlifts 3 x 8 or 12 
- Rowing with band 4 x 8 or 15 (band attached to a post or hooked under the feet) 
- Tricep pushdowns (band attached high up) 4 x 2 or 20 
- Resistance band push-ups 4 x 6 or 15
- Standing military press: 4 x 8 or 15 
If you’re just starting with a 25 kg (55 lb) band, choose a lower number of reps.
Allow for 1 minute of recovery between sets.
