In-mold technology and EPS
With in-mold technology, the external polycarbonate shell is moulded while expandable polystyrene (EPS) is injected. The resulting structure is harder, sturdier and extremely light. The inner EPS structure absorbs the energy of impact while the hard outer shell ensures durability.

Excellent helmet - saved my life

Had a pretty serious crash at 35km/hour; head and arm made contact on the ground first and took brunt of injury. This helmet saved my life: foam cracked where it needed to and, although I suffered a serious concussion, I am alive and my spine is intact.

As owner of several helmets, I must say that this is a great helmet for the price which is by far the least expensive helmet I own. The 55/59 medium helmet fits me perfectly with a snug excellent fit. The ventilation is also very good and relatively low weight. Also can wear m
y sunglasses with no interference from the helmet or straps and the front side vents offer a nice eyewear garage. No MIPS, but at $50 Canadian, not a big deal. Overall very happy with this helmet.
