Foot and ankle are comfortably held in place
The semi-soft boot offers a good level of comfort. The boot's stiff upper rides far enough up to properly hold your ankle in place. This system guarantees your ankle is firmly held in place by combining three means of fastening (5 eyelet lacing, micrometric buckle and fastening strap).
Sharpening
The skates should be sharpened regularly. We recommend sharpening the blades before using them for the first time. To maintain the sharpness of your blades, use rigid blade protectors when moving off the ice.

Tests
OXELO ice skates are tested under real use conditions for the type of recreational skating for which they were designed: outdoor use, snowfall, negative temperatures, and long sessions. Design teams co-developed this product with our Russian users and tested it together under the most demanding skating conditions.

First time skating in a couple years, so you know I am fully qualified to comment on skates and sucking at being a Canadian. Skaters were very warm, and comfortable after skating for a couple hours(15km). They are easy and quick to put on, and with laces and two straps it giv
e you lots of adjustments and support. The skate is a little bit flexible. I did find these a little hard to maneuver at low speed and unstable. They seamed real fast and glide real nice. Overall happy with this and an economical choice.

Those skates fit perfecly well and I can put them on in 20 seconds. After sharpened they slide perfectly well and provide enough stability. I'm a novice skater but they definitely make it much easier than my previous skates.
