The standard EN 1077:2007 category B is a European standard that applies to helmets used for cranial protection during downhill skiing or snowboarding. This standard tests the ability to absorb shocks and resist penetration.

The Turnring is essential for getting the correct fit. The dial is easy to use with gloves for easy, accurate adjustments at any time. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.
Passive ventilation system
The venting system improves the thermal regulation of your helmet and reduces fog in your goggles. This type of design lets heat and humidity escape from the entire helmet and goggle area.
Hard shell construction
The hard shell construction makes the helmet more durable and robust. The helmet has an injection-moulded, ABS outer shell to withstand powerful impacts. High resistance to bumps and knocks. The internal Epos skullcap absorbs impact during collisions. Change your snowboard helmet at least every 5 years, even if it hasn’t sustained any impacts.
Safety
Your child shouldn’t wear a thick hat under the helmet, as this reduces protection. Opt for a very thin beanie or balaclava. Helmets have good insulating properties. Often, nothing else is needed. Do not attach a camera to the helmet, as the extra weight can affect safety. The standard does not take into account any elements added to the helmet.

This is a great ski helmet. We decjds to get our own instead of renting just to be certain of the quality. This helmet is sturdy, comfortable and didnt make my head too hot whilst skiing. Did everything I would want a skiing helmet to do and for a great price. Would recommend
especially if you're a beginner skiier like myself.
