The appearance of fogging depends on several factors, the difference in temperature between the body and the water, humidity levels, etc. 
Wear due to friction is one of the main causes.
If your goggles fog up, dip your lenses in the water and a protective film will reform.
It is normal for the performance of the anti-fog coating to drop over time.

We provide an anti-fog marker that reactivates an ageing anti-fog treatment and makes your goggles last longer.

Fogging

The seal of the Swim goggles relies on the silicone skirts being correctly fitted to the shape of your face. 
Before purchase, we advise you to do the "suction" test without the strap. 
If the goggles stay on the face by themselves with a little suction, the product will be watertight during your swim. This also enables you to spot any areas of discomfort or annoyance when the model is on the face.
This model comes in sizes S (narrow faces) and L.

Choice of size

Swimming goggles that fit the shape of your face does not need to be over-tightened.

Goggles that are too tight can cause discomfort, leave marks and even create holes that let water get inside.

You don’t need to press against the lenses with your hands. A light suction effect is all you should need to keep water out.

The straps ideally should rest 2-3 cm above your ears.
This position will optimize the grip and comfort of the goggles.

How to adjust your goggles

We recommend: 
- rinsing your goggles (only if necessary) by simply dipping it in water
- not spraying the inner surface of the lenses with powerful jets of water.
- storing the goggles in their case after each session to prevent damage to the lenses (on the inner surface as there is an anti-fog coating and on the outer surface to prevent scratches)
- not exposing them to temperatures of over 60°C

The colour of your lenses should suit your swimming location and its lighting.
If you swim outdoors or in a swimming pool with bright lighting, it is preferable to use smoked lenses for greater comfort and reducing the glare.

If you’re outdoors in the evening or the pool is dark, use clear lenses.

How should you maintain your scooter?

For anyone between about 1.25 and 1.75 m (4'1"-5'9") tall. That means almost everyone! The secret behind the MID 7 is its versatility: it's fully equipped and you can change the height. Whether you're doing small journeys around town or family rides, this Decathlon scooter will take you wherever you want to go on average three times faster than walking.

Who is the MID 7 scooter designed for?

Yes, it is. This Oxelo scooter folds up (folded dimensions: 90 cm) and the height is easy to adjust. And its strap means you can easily carry it on your shoulder if needed.
Its large wheels (175 mm) mean that obstacles such as curbs won't stand in its way, while its mudguards (front and rear) protect you from splashes in the rain.

Is the scooter practical for using in town?

The MID 7 has been designed for journeys of up to 2 km. For longer journeys, you'll want a scooter with more features such as bigger wheels.
In terms of the maximum load, it can be used by anyone weighing up to 100 kg (220 lb).

What kind of journey can the MID 7 scooter be used for?

Not necessarily, a rear mudguard protects from splashes in wet weather. 

Will my pants get muddy/wet from splashes in wet weather?

All of our scooters have been lab tested. These tests check compliance with the European standards for scooters, as well as looking for wear. For example, one of our tests involves a machine folding the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system.
As well as lab tests we do field tests - some measured and others based on the testers' opinions - to really put the product through its paces. The result is a tested, proven product.
