Helmet designed for winning. Aerodynamic and ventilated: this is the helmet the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale team uses for racing on flat or rolling terrain. At the highest level, at high speeds, aerodynamics make all the difference. This is one of the fastest helmets in the professional peloton. Approved in a wind tunnel by the most demanding racers
[translation_pdp-materials]
Main lining: 100.0% Polystyrene, Shell: 100.0% Polycarbonate, Padding: 100.0% Polyurethane, Webbing: 100.0% Polyester
[translation_pdp-storage-advice]
Store away from direct sunlight to avoid damage to the exterior shell over time. Do not expose to high temperatures (60°C max.); store in a dry place.
Aerodynamics
Developed and tested in a wind tunnel to minimize its drag coefficient.
Ventilation
5 air entrances with 3 deep inner channels.
Anatomic design
Turn-ring system for a micrometric adjustment. Occipital adjustment.
Lightweight
In-mould technology results in a lightweight helmet.
Compatibility
Compatible with long hair. Can accommodate a braid.
FCR
The FCR range for Fast Racer is the product range for which we've worked the hardest on aerodynamics. It is intended for cyclists for whom every watt or second saved counts. These products make no compromises on performance. The helmet from the FCR range has been designed to work perfectly with the Van Rysel Road 900 Sunglasses. The temples clip perfectly into the helmet and don't slip off.
The helmet of the pros
The Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale professional team chose this FCR helmet for flat or rolling stages.
Security
Because choosing a helmet is above all a question of safety, this helmet meets all the most demanding impact standards. It complies with the European regulation EN1078. This standard covers the following aspects: construction (including field of vision), shock absorption properties, retention system features (including the chinstrap and tightening devices), and marking and information.
Sizes & weight
FCR Size S: 52-55 cm (20 1/2 - 21 1/2") 250 g (9 oz.) Size M: 55-59 cm (21 1/2 - 23") 290 g (10 oz.) Size L: 59-62 cm (23 - 24 1/2") 330 g (12 oz.) Note that this helmet is also available in a version with the MIPS system. This system slightly modifies the size grid, so if you are at the upper end of the size range and prefer the MIPS version, we recommend purchasing one size higher.
Ventilation
A helmet's ventilation is optimal when large entrances for air are connected to exits via canals that let the air circulate. The head is essential for cooling the body during intensive effort. The evacuation of the heat generated is thus a priority for maintaining a high level of performance.
Ventilation and aerodynamics
Poorly placed ventilation can, on the other hand, generate a great loss of aerodynamic performance by significantly increasing drag. The FCR air vents have been placed in high pressure zones that do not affect the helmet's aerodynamics. The 3 inner channels are wide and deep to ensure optimal air flow.
Return conditions (specific to PPE)
This helmet is personal protective equipment (PPE). The protection it provides depends on its condition. We can only accept helmets returned in new condition. If your helmet doesn't suit you, please return it with the user guide and tags.
Helmet life span
Helmets don't last forever. To ensure maximum safety, we recommend replacing your helmet at least every 5 to 7 years. It is important to store it in its case, in a dry, cool place away from sunlight. Extreme temperatures will deteriorate the helmet's foam more quickly. After a significant impact, it is essential that you replace your helmet, since it may no longer be effective if there are cracks inside the structure.

The price is great. Airflow is awesome. Normally the top of my head is drenched after a ride, but the venting just exhausts the hot air out of my helmet. It’s great. I feel aero. My head is about 58/59 I order the medium.

Can beat this helmet for value and it seems faster like it has an impact on speed to my previous helmet.

Helmet is made as much more expensive its counterparts. usually in range of 200£/EUR. However there's one huge but! Sunglasses are not holding in the ports. Out of my 6 pairs, only 1 did hold more or less well and it's not an issue with my other more expensive helmets of other
brands. Something to improve in the next model
