Getting a good start with your wheel
To prevent the rubber strip (rubber or PU) and the aluminum rim from coming undone, we recommend breaking it in just after your purchase. Breaking them involves riding a little (several miles) without doing tricks or slides. It allows the glue between the rubber and the rim to properly settle in and properly grip.
