We recommend these mitts for sparring workouts with sequences of strikes and grabs. They are specially designed for protecting your hands as well as your opponent (flexible foam).
The shape allows you to more easily slip past your opponent's defences and its self-locking (double foam) system helps keep you from hyper-extending your wrist.

HOW TO USE THE PRODUCT

These mitts are classified as personal protective equipment and comply with all current European standards (EN 13277-7).
They have also been tested and approved by our OUTSHOCK team in the lab and by a panel of users in demanding real-life conditions.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

After use, place your mitts in a dry, ventilated place to help them dry faster, prevent unpleasant odours and extend the lifetime of the inner foam.
Do not place near a heat source such as a radiator.

To find the right size, measure the circumference of your hand and check the size table below:

DESIGN

The bag can be filled to different levels. Here are the standard sizes:
- When full, the bag measures 85 cm, and will naturally bulge at the top or bottom depending on the filling. 
- The straps hooked to the bag are non-adjustable and measure 31 cm vertically from top to bottom.
The bag + straps = 121 cm (the size of a bag when hooked onto the ceiling, measured from top to bottom).

The type of boxing will determine the size of your bag (from 80 cm to 120 cm). 
- For punches only, choose a punching bag from 80 cm to 100 cm. 
- For punches and kicks, choose a bag over 100 cm.
- For kids or beginners, go for a polyester bag that's flexible upon impact. 
- For regular boxers, choose a PVC or leather bag that's stiff and very durable.
- For expert boxers or for intensive training, use a sturdy bag made from natural leather.

Never punch your bag with bare hands as you risk injuring yourself. Always wear boxing gloves or inner gloves during training.

The punching ball is designed for punch training. The foam ball and sprung, stable metal base guarantee good responsiveness. The height (100 cm -130 cm) can be easily adjusted using the wheel on the central metal shaft. 
This punching ball comes with a pair of junior gloves in size 4 oz (5-10 years).

Our team of enthusiasts designed this free-standing punching bag for beginners in boxing, Muay Thai, or kickboxing wishing to practise their punches/kicks...

We had just one idea in mind when imagining this inflatable punching bag: making boxing accessible to all. "This product allows you to begin any type of boxing, even cardio kickboxing. You can do it all: jab, hook, uppercut, middle kick... This punching bag is also good for people who simply want a bit of exercise to unwind," explains Daniele, Outshock product manager.

Making boxing accessible to all

This product includes a plastic base that can contain 28 litres of water and up to 38 kg of sand to ensure good stability, as well as an inflatable "punching bag". The result: a product that is easy to use and store because you can inflate and deflate it as much as you like, since the inflatable part can slide into the plastic base. It inflates with a universal pump (not provided) in under a minute.

Our team is proud to present an innovative product in free-standing bags, designed in collaboration with our teams in Hendaye (specialising in nautical and aquatic sports). "We use the same components as in our paddles, which makes our punching bag just as durable," says Daniele, Outshock product manager. It has been laboratory tested and withstands a cycle of 50000 repeated strikes by a machine.

Why should you work on your boxing reflexes?

This set includes a large and a small ball to give you two levels of difficulty. 
- The 70 mm ball is ideal for starting out. It has a larger striking surface and is slower due to its higher weight. You can use boxing gloves to further lower the difficulty. 
- The 50 mm ball is recommended for more seasoned boxers. It is lighter and much faster, making it harder to strike.

When wrapping a 4-metre long wrap around your hand, the last thing you want is to have to start over because you put it on wrong at the start. To make this task easier, we designed a wrap that has an ergonomically-designed loop 
With its curved shape, the buckle hugs your thumb. The result is that you end up putting it on correctly (along the thumb and across the back of the hand), and on the right side (relative to the rip-tab at the other end of the wrap).

In addition to an ergonomically-designed loop, the 500 boxing wrap also has markings to indicate the correct direction and correct side to start on: an arrow on the side of the loop shows the direction along which to slip on the wrap (along the back of the thumb), and what side to put the wrap on, in order to easily fasten the rip-tab at the end.

We started out with the idea of making a protective wrap that is easy to put on. To accomplish this, our 4-person design team worked for 9 months on designs, lab tests, many prototypes, and, in particular, tests at sports clubs with over 30 male and female boxers.

Our team of enthusiasts has designed these gloves for kids beginning boxing.

"Kids are not small adults - they have age-specific psychomotor skills. So kids' boxing gloves should not simply be a smaller version of adult gloves". This observation was the starting point for our design team and the Decathlon Sports Lab, our research and development lab on the human body in motion. These gloves were tested and approved in the laboratory, then in use by around twenty young boxers.
