This chamois pad is made from a unique combination of materials that offer the protection you need on your long rides. Both in the ischial and perineal areas. It has a protective, high-density, 120 kg/m3 (7 1/2 lbs/ft3) foam insert. The top layer of fabric, which is in direct contact with the skin, is made from spandex and brushed polyester threads to prevent rubbing and irritation.

We recommend replacing your helmet in these two cases:

1. After a fall:
In the event of a fall, the material of your helmet can deteriorate or even break. Sometimes, you won’t even notice. That’s why we recommend replacing it if you have the slightest doubt.

2. After five years of use:
The foam deteriorates. It can deteriorate due to impact, storage location, the climate, and its use. We therefore recommend replacing your helmet at least every five years.

When should I replace my helmet?

Three easy steps for adjusting your helmet in two minutes:
1. If necessary, pull your ponytail through the back of the helmet (lower the dial’s rim).

2. Clip the straps together with the buckle and adjust: make sure you can slide two fingers between the strap and your chin.

3. Adjust the tightness around your head using the rear dial.

The helmet should be in contact with your head without tipping forward, backward, or sideways, even when you’re moving.

The Mips system means you lose 1 cm (2/5”) of head space compared to a classic RoadR 500 helmet.

The Mips system consists of a layer with a low coefficient of friction, which allows for 10-15 mm (2/5 - 3/5”) of multidirectional movement during certain angled impacts.
This movement reduces the rotational force transmitted to the head.

Contrary to popular belief, tamper-proof locks do not exist.

A good lock has an anti-picking lock mechanism and is made out of materials requiring the use of specific tools, which makes theft more difficult.
