Benefits of a Utility Iron/Hybrid
The utility 3-iron and 4-iron offer powerful yet precise first strokes on long par 3 holes or when taking on the green from a distance. Built like an iron, these 2 utilities have been developed as a continuation of the 900 series for perfect design consistency. Your ball trajectories will be more penetrating than with a classic hybrid.
A word from our product manager
“We wanted to develop lower-loft irons that are easy to play and powerful, on top of ensuring continuity with the 900 set. This was a very pleasant discovery from the first product tests.”
Available in two shaft lengths
We have defined 2 lengths of club. Watch our video or visit a store to select the size that suits your game. - Size 1 if your hand/ground distance is less than 78.5 cm (31") - Size 2 if your hand/ground distance is more than 78.5 cm (31")
Clubs that reflect your swing speed
Three shafts for three speeds. For each speed, we selected the shaft that provides the best distance/accuracy ratio. We conducted a study with around one hundred golfers, which allowed us to categorize golfers’ swings into 3 groups: low, medium and high speed.
How to find out your swing speed?
A simple question: you’re on the fairway, 135 metres (443') from the flag—which club do you choose? - 5-iron or hybrid: you have a low swing speed (< 70 mph [113 kmph] for 7-iron) - 6-iron or 7-iron: you have a medium swing speed (between 71 mph [114 kmph] and 82 mph [132 kmph] for 7-iron) - 8-iron and 9-iron: you have a high swing speed (> 82 mph [132 kmph] for 7-iron) Visit a store to use the measurement tools available to accurately define your swing speed with our golf advisers.
