The EN 1077 class B standard is a European standard that applies to helmets used for head protection when skiing or snowboarding. This standard tests the ability of the helmet to absorb shocks from the side and withstand penetration. The EN 12492 standard is equivalent to the standard applicable to ski helmets for vertical sports, including mountaineering and climbing. Protects the skull against vertical impacts.

Removable helmet liner

We designed this helmet with a liner to keep you warm when ski touring. If you feel hot on the way up, you can easily remove the liner. Use the hook and loop tabs to put the liner back in for your descent.

Adjustment dial: Turnring system

The turnring is essential to the support of your helmet. The dial is easily accessible even with gloves on for easy and precise adjustments at any time. It also provides comfort and maximum safety. Turn the dial to the right to tighten and to the left to loosen.

Construction: In-Mould

The In-Mould construction features an outer shell directly moulded on the internal EPS liner, making the helmet extremely light. It absorbs the shock from any impact. The light grey, polycarbonate hard shell covering the helmet provides greater protection against impacts. The construction includes an intermediate layer (yellow) to protect you from perforations (branches, stones)

Compatibility

You can slide the elastic from your goggles though the two plastic clips on each side of the helmet. The shape of the helmet has been designed to perfectly match Wedze goggles

Recco system®:

If you use your helmet at a ski resort The Recco® search and rescue system features a dual technology system that is used by rescue teams at most ski resorts. - The Recco® detector used by rescue teams emits a directional signal. - The Recco® reflector built into the jacket returns the signal. This generates an audible sound that guides rescue personnel directly to the person needing assistance. Before setting off, make sure you get the information you need from the professionals

Tip: Product lifetime

Change your ski touring helmet at least every 5 years, even if it hasn’t sustained any impacts.
