Split capacity, wide front access, access to bottom of bag, 8 pockets.

Versatility

Bottle holder, pole holder, rain cover, multi-use straps.

Durability

Lightweight and durable polyamide main fabric, reinforced base.

Ventilation

Reinforced frame with mesh for greater comfort and breathability.

Easy hydration

Internal compartment for a water bladder (not included).

Weight

1.6 kg (3.5 lb): the empty weight indicated is for our benchmark sample

Dimensions

Dimensions Height: 65 cm (25.6 in) Width: 35 cm (13.8 in) Depth: 30 cm (11.8 in) Back length (from the base of neck): Minimum: 39 cm (15.4 in) Maximum: 51 cm (20.1 in) Waistband: Minimum: 77 cm (30.3 in) Maximum: 128 cm (50.4 in)

Capacity

The bag has a 45 L volume with an extension for carrying an additional 10 L. The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: We fill up the main compartment and pockets with small balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in litres, with a very small margin of error.

Weight

1.6 kg (3.5 lb), empty. Weight of the removable rain cover: 100 g (3.5 oz)

Air design

Ventilated back structure with mesh fabric that helps the back to breathe and dries quickly. Reinforced frame guarantees rigidity. Adjustable back with release strap that’s quick and easy to use.

Materials

Polyamide main fabric 210D RS (ripstop = increased resistance to tears), reinforced base (420D x 330D RS)

Recommended carry weight

Based on the backpack’s intended use, we recommend a maximum carry weight of 15 kg (33.1 lb). That way, you can benefit from all its features. Carrying a load greater than 20–25% of your own weight is also not recommended as it may put too much pressure on your back.

How to pack a backpack

Put your bedding at the bottom. Place heavy gear (tent, camp stove, food) near your back. Pack your clothing around it. A groundsheet or tent can be placed under the flap or under the bag if necessary. Keep a waterproof jacket and fleece at hand. Place small, frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.). The water bladder can be placed in the compartment provided down the back.

How to use the multi-use straps

The new range of bags has two straps with open aluminum buckles (on the lower part of the bag). These straps allow you to hook on a tent or mattress under the bag or on the barrel. When not in use, simply push straps inside the hidden pocket or detach them and use elsewhere with the lark’s head knot buckle.

Made for women

Our women’s backpacks are adapted to their shape (chest and hips) with a more open shoulder strap shape and a higher fitted belt for greater comfort and freedom of movement.

Accessories

To make your backpack easier to use, check out our storage accessories, repair buckles, and hanging straps.

Great pack, super comfortable

I’ve tried on packs everywhere! Atmosphere, MEC, breathe outdoors, etc. I had only found two other packs (ospreys) that compared in comfort but they had slightly smaller capacity and were each $100+ than what I paid for this pack!

Nice lighter weight womens back pack.

I was able to adjust and pack all that I needed into this back pack. It has plenty of straps and pockets to give versatility. One of those rucksacks which you learn better how to pack, more efficiently, every time you use it. I am quite a small lady (Size 8/10 UK 164cm tall

). I was able to adjust the straps to make the harness and waist belt fit reasonably well and spread the load, so all the weight wasn't solely hanging on my shoulders and compressing my back. If I were smaller, I think I might look more towards a youths fit because it would be tricky to comfortably adjust for much smaller body. This is something those of us who are of smaller build (whether men or women) need to consider when buying a rucksack. The quality is good but it is lightweight, and therefore buckles etc are small and potentially open to crush damage. Comes with a rain cover, which I thought was a nice touch.

Big disappointment

None of the stores nearby had it in stock to try it on, so ordered online expecting the Decathlon quality of other items purchased for years now, but sadly the backpack ruined my one-day hike. Got back with sore shoulders and neck, mesh padding very cheaply made so rubbed into

my skin. Hip fins extremely rigid, dug into my hips no matter how l tried to adjust them. Lid weirdly sewn on frame, keeps hitting back of neck. Not a beginner, l know how to adjust straps, distribute weight and compress pack. Totally surprised by how bad this backpack is, while not the cheapest in its range. Now struggling to return, as didn't keep the tags, so probably stuck with it.
