European standard EN 1078 defines the manufacturing and testing criteria for helmets used in sports like cycling, skateboarding, and in-line skating. The corresponding test requirements and methods cover the following aspects: construction, including field of vision; restraint systems (including chin straps and tightening devices), and manufacturer markings and information.
Return conditions (PPE)
Helmets are personal protective equipment (PPE). Make sure that you are satisfied with the model, fit, and colour before you buy. Helmets must be returned with the original instructions, stickers, and if possible, original packaging, in order to be resold. Together, we can protect our planet.

When should you replace a helmet?
Helmets are designed to protect your head from a single impact. If you fall, you should replace the helmet even if there are no signs of damage. It may be weakened or cracked in an area you can’t see, and no longer provide adequate protection. We recommend replacing your helmet every 5 years. Some of its components begin to age at this point, especially if stored in a cold or wet place. Manufacturing dates are printed inside the helmet.
