Because UV rays are harmful to eyes, all our goggles are certified 100% Anti-UV in accordance with the EN 174 Standard. Goggles provide the best protection as they completely enclose your eyes, blocking direct and reflected UV light.
S3 Sun lens
S3 Sun is a dark lens that protects you from bright sunlight. We selected a brown tint that offers good visibility in shaded areas or in the late afternoon when the sun is less bright. Lenses are not scratch resistant.
Anti-fogging performance
The Performance anti-fogging system has a double lens with a treatment on the inside. The ventilation system allows air to circulate inside the ski goggles. To ensure effective ventilation, do not block the vents, with a neck warmer, for example. Do not rub inner surface of lens. Instead, dab it carefully to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.
Double lens
Dual screen reduces condensation. Air trapped between the lenses creates a layer of thermal insulation. It reduces the thermal shock between the inside and the outside of the mask, decreasing fogging on the inner lens. The inner lens also has an anti-fog treatment.
Wraparound lens
Wraparound dual lens. The outer lens is made from an extremely shock-resistant injection-moulded polycarbonate. Inner lens is made from cellulose propionate.

The G 500 Ski Goggles have a high performance field of vision, which offers good peripheral vision.
Ski helmet compatibility
All Wedze ski goggles are designed to fit perfectly with Wedze ski helmets.
Compatibility with prescription glasses
G 500 Ski Goggles in size L can be worn with glasses (maximum width of 145 mm/5 ¾”). The foam on the sides and the shape of the goggle skirt leaves room for glasses arms.

Coloured flash lens
A coloured coating on the outer side of the ski goggles lens (known as coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light that reaches the eye, reducing glare and improving clarity in sunny conditions. Warning: The lenses are not scratch resistant.
CE and ANSI standard
The EN 174 standard is a European standard applied to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or during similar activities, such as snowboarding. The ANSI American standard is more stringent than the European standard for shock and impact resistance. These ski goggles comply with both of these standards.
Avoid fogging
Moisture causes fogging. To prevent this, the foam should not get damp, for example by placing the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Falling face down in the snow can also cause your goggles to fog up. Always dry your ski goggles properly overnight to get rid of all the moisture so you can hit the slopes the next day with completely dry goggles.
Two sizes
Chose your size according to your head size. Up to 55 cm (21 ½”) choose size S, from 56 cm (22”) up choose size L.

Goggles were not stitched!

I found out that these were not stitched correctly the night before my son was going on his ski holiday. Please check the elastic straps if you purchase these. They seem really good otherwise. I guess my bad luck picking that pair. Quite unbelievable how they get to be in th
e shop though. There was about 3 stitches in them. It's really worth checking the quality of everything you buy from Decathlon. The fact is that we mainly go there because most of the time the price will be lower than other places, but now more than ever this is offset by the quality as well. Don't say I didn't say so!

Lenses are not sealed

The glasses have a double lens. When it snowed, water melted in between the lenses making it impossible to see. It took a couple of days for all the water to dry out. The lenses are clearly not sealed correctly. Shame because the goggles looked good.

These are excellent goggles. My daughters wore them every day on our ski trip. They work really well with the Wedze helmet with lots of adjustment for if you are not using a helmet They did not fog up at all and the vision was really good The visor has a nice tint on
it, which keeps the sun or snow from getting too bright and it has a nice blue reflection They have a non slip surface on the inside of the strap so it doesn’t slip off the helmet when you put the goggles up on the helmet when not using them Really excellent goggles
