Sole grip

Certified sole grip. To be certified, the shoes must pass lab tests to assess their grip (0.6 for this model) on various surfaces (smooth, rugged, dry, wet). These tests are validated by a panel of testers who evaluate the quality of our soles out in the mountains across 500 km.

Which size should you choose?

For hiking, opt for one size larger for optimal comfort on the descent and to prevent toes from touching the tip of the shoe. Tip: keep your toenails short, and before going downhill at any time, check that your laces are tight to prevent your feet from slipping forward inside the shoes.

Buying tips

Allow children to try on both shoes, standing up, with the socks worn for hiking. Check two comfort points: the base of the heel and the front part of the foot going down. Avoid all pressure points when trying shoes on. Break your shoes in gradually on your first few hiking trips. Print the sizing chart and check the length of your child’s foot.

Removable insole

Removable insole for faster drying. It can also be replaced by an orthopaedic insole.
