The HL 900 USB V3 Headlamp has 6 modes:
- Static red to remain hidden in camp and maintain your night vision
- Economy mode (30 lumens) for reading maps or use in the tent
- Medium mode (80 lumens) for tracks or forest trails
- Full power mode (350 lumens) for hiking on rugged trails
- Boost mode (600 lumens, 60 secs) for finding your way off track; lasts 10 seconds before going back to 350 lumens
- Flash mode (blinking) to signal your location
- 1 hour reserve mode at 25 lumens

The HL 900 USB V3 Headlamp comes with an adapter for three AAA batteries (not included). You can use disposable batteries if you do not have a USB charger on hand or if you prefer disposable batteries to a rechargeable battery.Note: the battery adapter is IPX4 rated, not IPX7.

A wide red beam, so you can remain discreet and see at a very short distance (shelter).A wide beam with warm light, so you can see in front of you, to the sides, close up, and in the middle distance.
