Bought these boots to replace a pair of Fischer skate boots that were too big and bulky. Initial impression is very good - a much snugger fit and feel.They have good stability around the ankle and the carbon fibre is stiff and provides good support. The foot bed feels close to
the binding and there is good connection and stiffness. the boot is narrow across the front but there is some give in the upper fabric to accommodate the widest part of the foot. The Achilles tendon area is nicely cushioned and the fabric has a sticky material to stop the heel from lifting up inside the boot. Also the boots weigh very little thanks to the carbon fibre and minimal insulation. one tiny critique is that the laces are the old fashioned type and not a speed lacing system which might be a bonus for some. Overall very impressed with the quality and the price. Can't wait to get out some more with them!
