It’s normal for moisture or water inside the cooler to seep through the seams. This prevents unwanted water and moisture from pooling inside the cooler.

Waterproofing

To improve the thermal properties of your cooler, we recommend that you: 
- finish inflating it using the valve
- use ice packs
- leave your cooler in the shade
- open it only when necessary and close it quickly

You can carry it alone using the shoulder strap or between 2 people using the handles on the sides.
We added straps on the top of the cooler for your picnic blanket.

Carrying comfort

We used reinforced 600-denier* polyester fabric (PES) for the bottom of the cooler to increase the product’s durability outdoors.

*Denier refers to the weight of a yarn in grams per unit length of 9 m, so a 600-denier fabric weighs 600 grams for 9 metres.

Resistance

The cooler folds up to help you save on space. Our tips for folding it:
- open the valve, close the zipper
- put the cooler down horizontally, valve side up, and grab both sides with your hands
- push down to release the air
- put it back vertically without releasing the sides and press on the top to compress it
- close the valve
- loop the carrying strap around the cooler to keep it closed

Folding

The bottom of the cooler is removable so it can be thoroughly cleaned. Just pull on the little tab.

The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardized method: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with little balls. These balls are then emptied into a graduated container to get the equivalent volume in litres.

How is volume measured?

How to adjust your backpack

Cap Type

Aluminum is not isothermal. Use a cover if you want to keep liquids cool.
Not suitable for carbonated drinks, fatty substances (dairy products, oils, etc.), or acidic drinks (fruit juices, energy drinks). Do not microwave, freeze, or expose to flames.

Use the straw to keep your head straight while drinking.
You can remove the straw to drink from the bottle directly. However, this may create a noise caused by the intake of air upon contact with the water.
The cap has a handle so you can easily carry the water bottle or hang it from a backpack strap or carabiner.

Features

Clean your water bottle with regular dish soap and water after every use. The product is also dishwasher safe. Please note that the cap’s seal might come off in the dishwasher. If this happens, be sure to put it back on so your bottle stays watertight. Allow the cap and bottle to dry separately.

Rinse the entire product 3 times with clean water before first use.

Two dyeing processes reduce the product’s carbon footprint

Dyeing textiles requires a lot of water and discharges wastewater into the environment. 
To reduce this impact, we use the following two dyeing processes:
1. We don’t dye the interior fabric.
2. We dye in the mass, integrating the colour pigments during the manufacture of the yarn for the outer fabric.

The zipper is made from recycled material.

This product was lab-tested according to the EN 12546-2 standard, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs and half full. It took 7 hours to go from 5°C (food temperature straight from the fridge) to 15°C.
With a 1.2 kg ice pack, the time was 10 hours under the same conditions.

There’s a system inside for keeping your bottles upright during transport.

There’s a separate zipper pocket on the outside so you can keep your belongings dry and away from food in the cooler (wallet, keys, map, camera, etc.). 
The cooler also has 2 outside mesh pockets.

this backpack is not waterproof inside. The bottom doesn’t hold in water. 
Sometimes condensation is created inside the bag and some drops of water may seep through the seams. However, this rarely happens and won’t damage your food.

You can put ice packs in your bag to keep your food cold for longer.
When packing your bag, we recommend placing food that needs to stay cold at the bottom of the bag.To increase the cooler’s thermal performance, we recommend only opening it when necessary and closing it quickly.

This bag was designed using customer feedback and hikers’ observations.
