Textile dyeing requires a lot of water and also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce this environmental impact, the bulk dyeing process we use involves adding pigments to the yarn during its production.

The cut of a textile garment inevitably produces waste as different pieces do not always fit together. With this product, we used a minimal waste design method, which consists of piecing together the parts like a jigsaw puzzle to waste as little material as possible. We are now proud to offer our first jacket resulting from this method, with a 36% gain.

What is the fit of the 100 Ski Jacket?

Regular fit. The jacket’s sides are straight rather than fitted. This jacket is roomy enough to be worn over a first and second technical layer.

How is waterproofing of the fabric measured?

A fabric’s water resistance is measured by the height of a water column in mm it can support (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. Fabric with a waterproof rating of 5,000 mm is resistant to the pressure exerted by a 5,000 mm column of water. For skiing, we advise components rated between 3,000 mm and 20,000 mm.

How is the water resistance of a jacket measured?

The 100 Ski Jacket was rigorously developed to keep moisture out and prevent wind chill so you can brave bad weather. We tested this product’s waterproofness in use over several days in various weather conditions. Using this test, we can confirm that the jacket protects you from snowfall or a light rain shower of 12 cm in 2 hours.

How is comfort temperature measured?

We lab test each of our products to provide you with a comfort indicator. This comfort indicator is measured without tights for pants, and with a thermal T-shirt and a fleece for jackets. The temperature indicated is the external temperature at which the testers were neither warm nor cold. Of course, the perceived temperature varies in line with the intensity of the activity and the metabolism of the individual.

How to dress to stay warm on the slopes

To stay warm and dry, use the 3-layer rule:- Layer 1, a base layer to keep you dry. - Layer 2, an insulating layer to keep you warm. - Layer 3, a protective layer against the elements.

We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. If you need the seams, zippers, or another element repaired, contact your store. However, if we can’t repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.
