Because comfort is key when working out, we suggest paying close attention to the thickness of your mat. For gentle activities in bare feet, pick a mat that is at least 10 mm (0.4”) thick, with a soft, spongy texture. For dynamic strength training exercises, 7 mm (¼”) is thick enough. Length is also important. For example, for Pilates or strength training, pick a mat at least as long as you are tall.

A handy tip

This is our secret recipe to clean and deodorize your mat: 300 mL of water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, and 5 drops of lavender essential oil. You can also try our Essential Oil Yoga Mat Spray (reference number: 8491191).
Be sure to roll up your mat after every session using the straps provided (just don’t roll it too tightly). Can be used while barefoot or wearing socks.

To use your mat for stretching, place the striped side down and stand or sit on the smooth side. We recommend you exercise barefoot or wearing socks. To keep your mat in good condition, you can wipe it down with a damp cloth after each use.

This is the perfect towel for you if you perspire a lot. It’s ideal for Bikram and hot yoga. It absorbs perspiration and provides good grip.
It’s easy to carry around and can also be used on top of a mat for other types of yoga. In this case, we recommend moistening the surface to make it grip better, especially if you don’t perspire much.
Remember, it’s a towel! It’s meant to be placed on top of a mat!
