How is volume measured?
The volume of each backpack uses a standardized measuring method: the main compartment and all the pockets are filled with little balls. The balls are then emptied into a graduated container to determine the equivalent volume in litres. The main bag’s volume is 23 L (6 gal). We also measured the volume including the 2 water bottle outer side pockets. The total capacity is 25 L (6.6 gal).
Your comfort above all
We put comfort at the heart of product design so you can enjoy your hikes. The back, straps, and handle are comfortable because of their thickness and construction. They are made of different types of foam padding covered with a 3D mesh to improve ventilation and drying. The cushioned chest strap is fully adjustable. - Back: 5 pads made from 2 types of foam (PE/PU), 15 mm (0.6”) thick - Shoulder straps made from 2 types of foam (EVA/PU), 8-13 mm (0.3-0.5”) thick
14 pockets and 3 compartments keep you organized
- 3 compartments with 14 pockets to separate and organize all your belongings - 1 secure zipped compartment, including 2 pockets for 15” laptop and 13” tablet, raised to prevent impact - 6 zipped pockets, 1 hidden zipped pocket, 1 17 cm (6.8”) phone pocket (left strap) - 2 extendable and covered bottle holders - 1 organizer and 1 key holder - 1 cable inlet and 1 battery pocket - 1 lamp holder - 1 suitcase attachment strap
Waterproofing
The backpack’s water-repellent components allow you to continue walking or hiking in light rain for short periods. Note: This backpack is not watertight or waterproof and does not come with a rain cover. To keep your belongings dry on longer walks or hikes, we recommend the following product: 20- to 40-L (5-10 gal) Hiking Backpack Rain Cover (reference 8734213), which can be found on our website.
Outer dimensions
H: 46 cm (18”) | Width: 28 cm (11”) | Thickness: 22 cm (9”) This bag’s dimensions meet airline (IATA) requirements for carry-on luggage. Contact your airline for size and weight limits for carry-on luggage.
Tested for optimum durability and strength
We conduct lab tests to ensure the backpack withstands use over time. We use these tests to guarantee the bags for 10 years from the date of purchase.
How to adjust your backpack
- Loosen all shoulder, stomach, and chest straps - Put the bag on - Buckle the chest strap, adjust the height and width - Tighten the shoulder straps (top to bottom) - Adjust as needed It’s now adjusted!
How to pack your backpack
Put heavy items in the bottom and place your laptop and picnic items in their intended pockets. Pack your clothes around these items. Place small, frequently used items in the pockets (sunscreen, map, glasses, etc.). Water bottle(s) will go in the outer side pockets.

Incredible bag, I was shopping with quite a high price range and I didn't find anything that made sense more than this. The only thing more expensive bags added for me would be durability (this bag is good enough that it'll still last and can still take quite a beating even as
a hiking pack) so it's not enough to matter for me, attachment points, and different styles. This bag doesn't look bad at all, but nothing special to love. Anyways I could say what I love about it, but it's mostly just that it's exactly as advertised, comfortable to carry, good organization, great capacity, fits as a personal item, great for urban use and hiking alike. So I'll use this review for my feedback on what it lacks and what I'd like to see improved: 1) This is the main/only thing that actually matters to me: I can't figure out how to hook a hydration pack and keep it upright, maybe I'm missing something. This is important to me as it's the only feasible way to carry enough water for hikes and I don't want 3L of water bunching down to the bottom of the pack. 2) the material and stitching where it doesn't matter could be better. I don't really care because the material is good everywhere it matters. More than anything it's the looks. A bit shiny material and zippers. Example: the diamond thing on the front of the bag is lower quality. Zippers are good quality it's just the look of them, and some other material that makes it seem less luxurious. ie. it's all good but I'd pay gladly 1.5x the price to improve material quality in certain areas. 3) This is just an extra improvement but I'd like a way to button/clip or tuck the straps so that they're not as loose/flappy when they're not in use. Then I'd consider adding a side strap but they'd have to lose a water bottle/umbrella pocket on one side to do that so maybe it's just me that would want that. So 8.5/10 not considering price but 10/10 when considering can't imagine finding anything close to this anywhere close in price, and would really have to find something perfect to consider spending more (at this size for these purposes, for ultralight extreme camping I could see other features/designs/materials being worth spending extra for some)

The bag is the perfect size for daily use to and from work. I can fit all of my electronics, books and lunch bag in the different compartments. The water bottle compartments are fantastic and even conceal the bottle from view. The shoulder straps are a bit narrow but overal
l comfortable enough. I wish there was a more colour choices than black.

Was hoping for a backpack to fill multiple purposes: a simple bag for my work laptop and lunch, a bag for short hikes and dog walks, and a cabin-sized bag with room for a weekend’s worth of clothes. I looked this over in store, wasn’t totally sold it was what I wanted, but de
cided to take it home to “test it out”, filling it with items. It’s a brilliant bag. It’s not bulky and large when it isn’t full, it has a lot of space for its size and the compartments are great without taking away useful space. The suitcase strap is perfectly positioned and balances without issue on a suitcase. The water bottle pockets are unique and their “full height” length lends to other uses (umbrellas etc) which would topple in normal bottle pockets. The two “hidden” pockets are great. The padding is comfy without too much bulk. Cons: The photos are inaccurate: the main/middle pocket shows a headphones hole and side pocket for a charger which aren’t present; and the smaller front pocket shows a zip pocket which isn’t present. The phone pocket on the straps is very small, even with the stretch, it likely only fits an iPhone 6 sized phone. The chest strap is oddly positioned and doesn’t tuck away. It has neat sliders to position it higher or lower but doesn’t fit me as a 5’8 chesty woman. Overall, the more I’ve looked at it, the more I like it. It felt pricey, but realistically a similar bag would likely be towards $100, so this was good value for the quality and uses.

Hi G! Thanks so much for taking the time to write about your experience with this product- not only does it greatly help our design teams, it informs our teammates in store AND customers potentially looking for feedback on an item! To address a few of your points: As we are a
company who designs, manufactures, and distributes our products for over 60 countries, the product photos can sometimes be of older products or previous versions. We'll flag this and make sure the specs showing are correct!Unfortunately, the recent designs of phones have taken a significant upsize! Where products can sometimes take 2+ years to get from design to stores, the sizing isn't always caught in time. Again, this is noted for our teams! To ensure it's being used correctly: the chest strap is more accurately a sternum strap, designed to sit high (just below the collarbones) with the sole purpose of ensuring your shoulder straps don't slide off or down! With this in mind, it should also sit fairly loose. Again, thank you for your great feedback! As for the price point, the refreshingly affordable cost of our products has to do with smart and wonderful supply chain decisions that mean the value is high while the prices stay lower! We hope to help again for your future adventures! 💙 Haley

I bought this backpack as a spare, and was not expecting something great. But it is great! I wouldn't have bought it initially if it wasn't that cheap, but after using it I would have bought it for twice its value.

Almost perfect. This backpack is flexible enough to be used for day-to-day activities, hiking, and travelling. The two flaws that I have noticed are: - The straps slowly loosen over time, meaning you have to keep tightening them. Using the chat strap helps to mitigate this pr
oblem. - The water bottle pouch is quite small. I wouldn't expect a Nalgene to fit, but even my 0.8L Quechua bottle doesn't fit (unless I put it in upside down). Overall this backpack is still a solid product.
