Helmets are designed to protect your head from a single impact. If you fall, you should replace the helmet even if there are no signs of damage: it may be weakened or cracked in an area you can’t see, and no longer provide adequate protection.
We recommend replacing your helmet every 5 years. Some of its components begin to age at this point, especially if stored in a cold or wet place. Manufacturing dates are printed inside the helmet. 

When should you replace a helmet?

Great for family outings, our Fit 100 skates are designed for beginner or occasional skaters looking for safe, comfortable, and affordable gear.

For beginners

The semi-soft boot is made with 3D mesh that prevents excess moisture buildup inside the skate. Foam and heel cushioning ensure maximum comfort.
The cuff (the part of the boot that comes up the leg) is stiff and comes up high enough to hold ankles in place. micrometric buckle, and strap).

Comfort and support

No, not with Oxelo. These skates deliver solid glide performance thanks to a combination of 76 mm wheels and ABEC 5 bearings. Their plastic frames and relatively soft rubber wheels (80A) provide a good balance between vibration absorption and tolerance.
Compatible with 80 mm wheels.

For repairs and replacements, look for after-sales parts in-store, online, or at your local Decathlon store workshop.
The parts that can be changed are 76 mm or 80 mm wheels, ABEC 5 bearings (or higher for better glide quality). Brake stoppers fit either foot.

Maintenance and repairs

Skate wheels don’t wear evenly because of how we angle our feet to push off or turn. That’s why it’s important to rotate your wheels regularly and to always
switch them in pairs.

These adult skates meet the EN 13843 class A standard, which applies to in-line skates intended for users weighing between 20 and 100 kg. This European standard aims to reduce the risk of injury by defining safety requirements and specifications for test methods, markings, and information provided by manufacturers.

Thanks to this unique system, your child can enjoy their skates for more than one season. Make sure to pick skates that fit your child’s feet. If they’re too big or too heavy, your child will have poor posture and struggle to control their movements.

One skate, many sizes

The semi-stiff boots have foam padding for extra comfort and moisture-wicking airy mesh to keep your child’s feet dry for longer.
They’re easy to put on thanks to their simple, effective fasteners: each boot has a top micrometric buckle and a rip-tab fastener on the instep so the heel fits snugly.
Sizes 11.5C–1 and 1–3.5 have elastic laces and sizes 3.5–6, standard laces.

Ultra comfortable

The lightweight composite plate ensures a smooth, easy glide. The 70 mm 80A wheels and ABEC 3 bearings provide effortless glide and maneuverability. They come with a classic rubber brake that you can attach to either the right or left boot. Spare brakes are available in stores.

Easy brake system

Unlike plastic, which skids, rubber provides good traction. This prevents slipping when your child pushes off and helps them brake effectively. What’s more, rubber wears less quickly than plastic.

Our Oxelo teams work hard to keep your child safe, however experienced they are. That’s why we chose to equip all our kids’ skates with rubber wheels and brakes.

Why rubber beats plastic

Some parts of the wheels will wear out more quickly, so switch their positions regularly. 
Replace them once they’ve worn down to the first of the seven visible rings.

Making your wheels last

The FIT 3 skates are equipped with 70 mm wheels.
Inline skates in sizes 1/3.5 and 3.5/6 can be equipped with 76 mm wheels, even light-up ones, which are available online or in store.

The boot's stiff upper rides far enough up to properly hold your ankle in place. This system guarantees your ankle is firmly held in place by combining three means of fastening (5 eyelet lacing, micrometric buckle and fastening strap).

Not with Oxelo. Decathlon’s Fit 500 inline skates have a smooth glide thanks to ABEC 7 bearings, an aluminium frame that’s stiffer than plastic and handles well, and new 80 mm rubber wheels with an 80A hardness rating for better grip and comfort.
The combination of an aluminium frame and 80 mm rubber wheels gives you a great balance between push and glide quality.
Compatible with 84 mm wheels.

Do you have to choose between glide quality and handling?
