These shoes are sturdy and SPD-cleat compatible, featuring a lace pocket and a casual look. However, the sole isn't thick enough to recess the cleats, causing them to clatter on hard surfaces.

Excellent shoe, but.....

Like all Decathlon cycling gear these are excellent. But there is one qualification. They are promoted as "Compatible with platform pedals and SPD cleats". But if you use them with platform pedals - as I do - the grip is average to poor. My feet slipped around due to the large
cut-out for the SPD cleat. No cleat covers are supplied for use with platform pedals. Shimano cleat covers are readily available for around £10,which solves the problem. So it is not the end of the world. But it would be useful to point out on the product description that cleat covers are not supplied and may be required for platform pedals.
