Technical information

The RoadProtect+ hybrid bike tire has 2 levels of protection:
1. The first protection is a 3 mm (1/10") high-density rubber strip located under the tread. 2. The second protection is a polyamide strip located under the first protective layer. 

This combination of rubber and polyamide protection provides an excellent level of puncture-resistance. 
We tested it in the lab. It earned a score of 5/5.

What is this tire's level of puncture protection?

We measure a tire's puncture resistance in the lab. The perforating elements are calibrated to mimic the spines, glass shards, etc that you may encounter on roads and trails. Depending on its resistance, each tire gets a score from 1 to 5/5. 
The strongest tires on the market get a score of 5/5.

How to change a tire

Inflate the tire with caution. The minimum pressure for this tire is 2 bar, the maximum 5 bar.These values are displayed on the sidewall of the tire. We recommend using a pump with a pressure gauge. 

We recommend checking the pressure once a month.
