In-mould technology and EPS
With in-mould technology, the external polycarbonate shell is moulded while expandable polystyrene (EPS) is injected. The resulting structure is harder, sturdier and extremely light. The inner EPS structure absorbs the energy of impact while the hard outer shell ensures durability.

The y-straps under the ears are non adjustable. When I tried it on in the store it was okay. As my hair has grown it now rubs lightly under my ears. If I wear the helmet liner it digs into my ears. Every helmet I've owned had adjustible y-straps, so I never even thought to che

bad design for people with oval heads

this bike helmet felt unsafe on my head. it is possible to adjust the tightness around the head, and you can adjust the length of the chin strap but there is no way to adjust the "forehead" strap. it was too long for me, so when I did the "does the helmet stay on my head witho
ut the straps bending over"test in the shop all seemed fine, but the over long (for me) forehead strap meant that on the first bump, no matter how adjusted the helmet around my head or under my chin, slipped to the nape of my neck. Incredibly the chin strap and the other straps connecting to the helmet are sewn together. no ability to adjust. I'm not saying this is a dangerous helmet for those with the right head shape and height of head, but for me it was an impossible situation.
