Watching intermediate young players on the soccer field helped us understand the importance of support in a soccer sock.
These soccer socks were designed with polyester and spandex to prevent the sock from slipping around the calf. They also feature a specific knit that’s tighter around the ankle and instep.

How big is it? What’s the circumference?

Average measured variation: maximum of 2%.
We measure the ball’s sphericity at 4,500 different points and then examine any discrepancies. 
If the discrepancy is greater than 2% (FIFA Pro Standard), our engineers work on improving the sphericity to ensure a consistent bounce.

A round ball?

We inflate the ball to the recommended pressure (11.6 psi).
The ball cannot lose more than 15% of its pressure over the next 72 hours, meaning a maximum pressure loss of 1.5 psi. The pressure after 72 hours must be approximately 10.1 psi.
This also means that it’s quite normal for a ball to lose pressure after a few days.

Maximum pressure loss test: here’s what we do.

To simulate rainy playing conditions in a lab, we put the ball in 2 cm of water on a pivoting support and subjected it to 250 compressions.
By the end of the test, the ball must not have absorbed more than 15% of its weight. For this ball, it means a maximum of 65 g.

We’ve also tested how much water the ball absorbs.

Between 125 and 155 cm (size 5) with a maximum difference of 10 cm between the ball's highest and lowest bounce. Each ball is dropped 10 times on a steel plate from a height of 2 m.Between 115 and 155 cm (42.3' and 61.0') for size 3 and size 4 balls.

It’s all about the bounce

The most demanding test this ball undergoes is the machine shot test.
The ball must resist up to 2,500 shots against an inclined flat concrete slab at 50 km/h at a distance of 2.5 m.
At the end of the test, we check:
- The ball’s general condition: Stitching must remain intact.
- Circumference: Must not have varied by more than 1.5 cm.

- Sphericity: Must not have varied by more than 2%.
- Air pressure: Pressure loss must not exceed 15%

To design these soccer cleats and their Easy system, we observed very young players, listened to their parents and teachers, and worked with a podiatrist who specializes in sports and young soccer players. So what is it that makes them so great? A high-quality rip-tab fastening across the entire foot, which pulls the laces together to help keep them properly done up.

In order to provide you with optimum flexibility for sudden changes of direction, push-offs, mad dashes, and between-the-lines passes, we have developed a special technology. The Flex-H, on the front of the outsole, allows the sole to bend following the shape of a horizontal "H". 

What is the "Flex-H" technology?

The upper on the forefoot is made of soft PU, there’s a mesh fabric lining on the heel, a preformed insole, and a tongue attached at the base that does not twist and keeps the foot nice and snug during play. A pronounced contour and raised heel back help support your foot and keep it in place.
