Waterproof

UIAA Dry hydrophobic treatment core and sheath. PFC free.

Lightweight

At 39 g per metre (1 1/3 oz. per yard), you won’t even feel it in your backpack.

Ergonomic grip

This thin rope is smooth, light and compact.

Stretch

Absorbs fall force well with 7 kN impact force rating.

Versatility

Meets two standards: Half rope and twin rope.

UIAA Dry treatment:

The sheath and core have a water-repellent finish so the rope stays dry. Less than 2% water retention. The mechanical features help the rope last longer in cold and wet conditions.

Plasma fluid treatment:

Special treatment makes the rope smoother.

Weight:

39 g/m (1 1/3 oz./yd) Please note: Rope weights are set according to the EN 892 standard. For example, a single rope must hold 10 kg (22 lbs) for 1 minute under specific temperature and humidity conditions. This determines the rope’s actual weight, which is often superior to the weight given by the standard. The weight according to the standard is used to compare two ropes.

Number of falls:

Number of falls: 6/12 Impact force: 7/10.6 kN Dynamic elongation: 28.5%/27.6% Static elongation: 8.7% / 4.6% Sheath slide: 0 Number of spindles: 32

Washing the rope:

It’s important to properly care for your rope to reduce wear. We recommend the following: 1- Use a rope cover. 2- Wash off dirt under lukewarm water. Should stains persist and you want to wash the rope with soap, it is important to use a pH-neutral soap (such as Marseille or household soap) and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. 3- Air-dry away from sunlight and heat sources.

Storing the rope:

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and corrosive agents. Never leave your rope in a car on a hot summer day.

Inspecting the rope:

It’s important to check your rope regularly. Run it through your hands and inspect it metre by metre. This will allow you to spot any nicks, cuts, or weak spots. If you notice any abnormalities, if the core is visible, if the rope is deformed or if the rope has exceeded its fall rating, it must be replaced. Take safety seriously!

Great rope for the money

Bargain price sets this apart from the competition, a little stiff when new but does soften up with use. Great for bottom of the pack emergency use or glacier travel. Second Colour and full length version for twin rope use would be great!

Brand''s answer:
