The 150 classic Fish-Scale cross-country skis—perfect for beginners!

Size is based on ability and weight rather than height.

For the 150 Cross-Country Skis with fish scales: 
- 50 to 60 kg (110 to 132 lb) => 185 cm
- 60 to 75 kg (132 to 165 lb) => 195 cm
- 80 to 95 kg (176 to 209 lb) => 200 cm
- more than 90 kg (198 lb) = 205 cm

If you are between two sizes: 
- For more comfort and manoeuvrability choose the shorter size.
- For more intense use, choose the larger size.

Choosing the right ski size

The grip of a cross-country ski refers to the central area of the base (underside of the ski). 
It helps you avoid slipping in uphill sections while providing smooth glide performance on flat or descending terrain.
There are 3 systems for grip: fish scales, grip wax, or skins.

All our skis are sold with Rottefella bindings that are compatible with NNN, Prolink, and Turnamic.

The 150 Cross-Country Skis are equipped with Rottefella Basic Auto bindings—perfect for beginner skiers.
They’re easy to use, with a step-in function that lets you simply press down at the forefoot to put your skis on and remove your skis by pressing the button at the front with the tip of your ski pole.

We recommend that you prepare the underside of new skis for optimum glide. Several consecutive waxings are best to build up a proper base. 

To keep your skis in top performing condition, remember to wax them often!

Our skis are made from a “sandwich” structure: different materials are layered in the core of the ski and across its full width. 
The final product is assembled with a press.

Core = the centre of the ski: wooden (solid or grooved) or composite (honeycomb or Nomex®)
  Base = the part in contact with snow, made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE)
Grip = the area under the ski

.These new 900 HD cylindrical goggles feature a HD lens which provides excellent visual quality.
It also provides a good field of vision and combines well with Wedze helmets.
You can unclip the lens from the frame either to replace the original lens or to insert a fine weather lens (sold separately). Or even for a spherical shape.

Experience

UV rays are bad for the eyes. All our goggles meet the EN -174 standard and provide 100% UV protection. Ski goggles offer the best protection: they provide perfect coverage for your eyes and prevent any UV rays from entering including glare.

Optimal anti-fogging combines a treated dual lens with an air vent on the frame that ventilates the inside of the ski goggles.
For good ventilation, do not block air vents with a neck warmer, for example. 
Do not rub inner lens surface. Instead, dab it carefully to preserve the anti-fogging treatment for as long as possible.

A coloured coating on the outer side of the ski goggles lens (known as coloured Flash) reduces the percentage of light that reaches the eye, reducing glare and improving clarity in sunny conditions.
Please note that the Flash lenses are sensitive to scratches, remember to protect them.

The EN 174 standard is a European standard applied to goggles used for eye protection when downhill skiing or during similar activities, such as snowboarding. The ANSI American standard is more stringent than the European standard for shock and impact resistance.
These ski goggles comply with both of these standards.

Moisture causes fogging. Keep the foam as dry as possible. For example, do not place the goggles on a wet helmet or a hat. Always dry your ski goggles properly overnight to get rid of all the moisture so you can hit the slopes the next day with completely dry goggles.Never wipe/rub the inner lens to avoid removing the anti-fog treatment, simply dab it.

We recommend the three-layer technique. 
Layer 1: A second skin (technical base layer) that wicks away moisture to keep your skin dry.

Design

Water repellency is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior.

To avoid feeling damp, wear breathable clothing that allows perspiration to evaporate.

A smart ski glove

These ski gloves have a water-resistant membrane (a thin polymer film) between the lining and the outer part of the glove. This membrane acts as a barrier to make the product waterproof. The product’s exterior materials are also treated for water repellency. In extremely wet conditions, however, their waterproofing is limited. Membrane resists 10,000 mm water column.
