Technology

The 500 helmet features an automatic fit adjustment system.


Once the correct size is selected (S: 52–55 cm | 20.5–21.6 in
or M: 55–59 cm | 21.6–23.2 in) and the chin strap is adjusted during first use, children can put the helmet on by themselves, as easily as a cap.

Elastic bands allow a rear pad to fit snugly against the back of the head for a secure, adaptive fit.

EN 1078 is a European standard that specifies the requirements and test methods for cycling, skateboarding, and skating helmets.
The standard covers the following aspects: - construction, including field of vision
- shock absorption properties
- retention system features, including the chin strap
- tightening devices
