Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont Blanc in Haute-Savoie, France. This location means we can test our products on natural terrain. These hiking capri pants have been subjected to abrasion tests. Before being selected, the capri pant and belt materials were tested in our Decathlon Sportslab laboratory. The pants were worn with a loaded backpack for 10 hours of active walking.

Why choose linen?
Linen, a natural, hypoallergenic, and antibacterial fabric, was selected for these capri pants, as linen has excellent technical properties. This resistant fibre provides freshness in summer and warmth in winter. The main material of the capri pants contains 38% linen.
Adjust the capri pants to your height
On each side of the pants, above the knees, you’ll find 2 small drawstrings hidden in the gusset. By pulling these little drawstrings, you can shorten the pants while creating elegant little gathers on the sides. Don’t forget to tuck the drawstrings into their elastic pocket inside the gussets, so that they stay in place.
Ease of movement
The main fabric of the capri pants contains 3% elastane. This will give you great ease of movement and also means that the fabric will relax, a bit like jeans. Feel free to choose pants that fit quite close to your body: they’ll adapt to your body as you move.

I have 2 pairs of these in khaki, which I bought in summer 2023 and this year added blue to my wardrobe, though to be honest, I'm barely ever not wearing them. I'm in them all summer long and sad when the cooler weather strikesand they have to get packed away for the winter. T
