Poor quality - seam spilt in less than six hours

Overall the feel of these salopettes is great, they are waterproof as evidenced by the droplets sitting on the material as opposed to being absorbed and warm enough to keep me toasty through gusting freezing wind. The vents are a great addition helping me cool down quickly aft
er some hard runs! They fasten well and feel very secure on the hips, allowing good flexibility for bending and turning However after a morning skiing (just under six hours of wear) one of the seams in the internal crotch lining has come undone, leaving a hole into the lining. Very poor build quality for a relativey expensive pair of salopettes. As the damage has occurred very early into a ski trip I will still have to wear the salopettes for the remainder but after submitting this and photos to the decathlon help whatsapp have been told that the return may be rejected if the assessment carried out determines that the item cannot be repaired or resold. Not the fault of the person responding, but as the salopettes are defective it is not my responsibility if they can or cannot be repaired or resold upon return. Overall very disappointed in the purchase and service, a real change from my previous experiences with decathlon.

Warm and waterproof, with zips for breathability and convenience. Functioned well in temperatures of -5C with high wind, and also in 2-3C with melting snow. Size is on the smaller side, so had to order 2XL, where i normally take XL for other gear from Decathlon.
