The skis are sold as a pack with Tyrolia Ambition 10 bindings and skins.
The binding is mounted on a rail allowing the length of the binding to be adjusted. It is therefore suitable for a wide range of ski sizes.
The baseplate is custom-mounted to suit every need.
This assembly allows you to lend your skis, change shoe sizes, etc.
This system makes it easy to have a go at ski touring.

Ski + bindings pack

The skins provided are trimmed and cut to the length and width of the ski.
Made of 70% mohair and 30% synthetic material for the ideal balance between gliding performance (when climbing in order to save energy) and grip (when climbing to avoid backsliding).
The skins are fitted with a metal loop to fit most ski tips and an adjustable camlock on the back to fit the skin to the back of the ski.

Structure

The skis make contact with the ground near the tip and tail, while the waist (under the bindings) is slightly raised (this is the camber). The longer and higher the camber, the greater the edge grip, and the more responsive the ski. The lower the camber, the more forgiving the ski and the better the handling.

What is a camber?

The camber on the Cruiser is average, it offers a good compromise between manoeuvrability and grip.

Camber

On a rocker ski, the tip and sometimes the heel come off the ground sooner than with a cambered ski. This moves the point of contact toward the centre of the ski. The surface of the ski in contact with the snow is shortened: they handle better and have more buoyancy on soft snow. When leaning into turns, the edge length offers more grip on hardpack. A longer rocker improves the way the ski handles.

What is a rocker?

The Cruiser has a front rocker and a rear rocker (tip and tail), which allows it to be manoeuvrable and very easy to pivot on all types of snow.
On piste, this small rocker makes it possible to turn the ski very easily without any effort.

Rocker

The sidecut is characterized by 3 dimensions: the width at the tip (front of the ski), at the waist (middle of the ski) and at the tail (rear of the ski). 
- The wider the tip, the easier the turn entry. 
- The narrower the waist, the stronger the grip in hard snow. The wider the waist, the more comfortable and stable the ski in different snow conditions. 
- The wider the tail, the more stable the ski is in turns. The narrower the tail, the better the glide.
