How is comfort temperature measured?

We lab test our products to provide you with a comfort indicator. The comfort indicator is measured without tights for pants, and with a thermal T-shirt and a fleece for jackets. The temperature indicated is the external temperature at which the testers were neither warm nor cold. Of course, the perceived temperature varies depending on the intensity of the activity and each individual’s metabolism.

How to dress to stay warm on the slopes

To stay warm and dry, use the 3-layer rule:- Layer 1, a base layer to keep you dry. - Layer 2, an insulating layer to keep you warm. - Layer 3, a protective layer against the elements.

How is the jacket’s waterproofness measured?

A fabric’s water resistance is measured by the height of a water column in mm it can support (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A water-resistance rating of 10,000 mm means the fabric can resist 10,000 mm of water pressure. For skiing, we advise components rated between 3,000 mm and 20,000 mm.

How is the water resistance of a jacket measured?

We lab-test each of our products to validate its waterproofing value.How do we carry out this test?We fit the jacket on a mannequin that spends a few hours under a shower. Using this test, we can confirm that the jacket protects you from snowfall or a light rain shower (30 mm/1.2”) for half an hour.

Care instructions

To optimize your product’s performance and durability, we recommend: *Machine wash at 30°C on the synthetics setting. *Turn the product inside out. *Use a small amount of detergent. Do not use fabric softener. *Spin between 800 and 1,200 rpm. * Dry flat or tumble dry (preferably). This step is very important to fully dry the inner fibres and restore the loft to your jacket.

We commit to repairing your product free of charge for the duration of the warranty. If you need the seams, zippers, or another element repaired, contact your store. However, if we can’t repair your product (production defect), we will exchange it or reimburse you.
