The right size depends on the child's height!
Our gis come in sizes from 100 to 150 cm. Choose one that's at least 5 cm bigger than the child's height, for growth spurts (kids generally grow 5 to 10 cm per year).

For example: if the child is 1.35 m tall, choose a 140 cm gi.

Which size of gi to choose?

Fabric thickness is expressed in grams per square metre. This is called grammage. For judo, it's best to have a uniform in durable fabric that holds up during grips and during washing as well!
So we chose a fabric in 35% cotton and 65% polyester: it holds up better against pulling and washing.
What about fabric weight? At 190 g/m², kids will be incredibly comfortable as they learn!

Grammage and composition: what they mean

Air out the uniform after every use. To keep them white, wash them regularly. One pointer? Wash on a cold wash for the first few times. After that, wash it in temperatures up to 30°C. 
When drying it, let it air dry and avoid using the dryer :)
