Use and stability
To ensure a good grip on the seat post, degrease it thoroughly and use the provided washer ring to prevent the pannier rack from pivoting. Be careful: if the 10 kg (22 lbs) load limit is exceeded, the pannier rack may pivot and the stays could twist. This model is not recommended for bike travel, as the loads carried are greater than the load limit.
Durability and repairability.
To extend the lifespan of our pannier racks, they are all repairable. We have created repair kits containing all of the loose parts for our pannier racks: screws and removable connecting parts. So if you've lost or damaged a part, it can be replaced without the need to buy a whole new rack. You can find the reference code for the kit that matches your product in the support section.

I bought this cantilever, seat post pannier rack 500 for my commute bike nearly 2 years ago and have been using it 2-4 per week since. I'm pleased to report that it is an absolute "dream" of a product. It is sturdy and easily holds the bags and load. It makes it so easy to
clean around it, and to change punctures and tyres when you occasionally need to, unlike the fiddly normal ones which attach to the wheel axle or bolts, etc. In fact, it works so well I can't believe there are not more of them on the market, and why the old style persist. This is clearly the way forward. I would recommend it to anyone. I'm about to buy another one for my wife's bike. I even switched it to my old hybrid for a week when my main bike needed to go to the repairers for a new bottom bracket. It was almost too easy to remove it with the Allen key bolts and install on my other bike. And then I put it back on my main bike afterwards - no problem. Completely solid and sturdy. Well done Decathlon product team. One of my best purchases ever!

Les points positifs : * la barre se fixe très facilement, * l'attache au niveau de la tige de selle est plus petite qu'une barre d'autres marques (la cuisse ne frotte pas dessus) * testé dans la foulée avec deux sacoches lestées de 3kg chacun... ça ne bouge pas même en danseus
e dans les cotes, ça vibre pas... ... et pour les points négatifs... je cherche...
