Choosing your yoga mat
- Do you practice gentle yoga (Hatha, restorative, prenatal, nidra, etc.)? Transitions are slower and poses are less physically intense. A mat that is between 5 mm (0.2”) and 8 mm (0.3”) thick will provide enough cushioning for your cervical spine and joints. - Do you do dynamic yoga (Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar, hot yoga, Bikram, etc.)? Transitions are fast and the intensity is high. A mat up to 5 mm (0.2”) thick will give you better grip and stability.
Considering mat weight
The mat’s weight depends on the material. We choose materials that meet your yoga needs. The thicker the mat, the heavier it is. Remember to consider this when choosing your mat!On the move or not; on foot, by bike, by car... Our mats range from 405 g to 3 kg.
Care
Freshen up your mat with our essential oil spray. Wipe your mat down with warm, soapy water and let it air dry before you roll it up.
