To train safely, your weight training plates need to stay in place as you exercise. That’s where the disc collar comes in! This accessory locks the weights onto your bar or dumbbell.
Our disc collars are sold in pairs (ref: 8574652). Note that the disc collars have a weight limit of 15 kg (33 lb) in a vertical position.

Add disc collars to stay safe

Humidity is terrible for weight training plates. 
That’s why it’s important not to store them outdoors or in a basement. 

Here are a few tips to help your weights last longer:
- Store them in a dry place
- Dust them when needed with a microfibre cloth
- Store them on a wall mount for discs (ref: 8796727), on the bottom of a piece of furniture, or on your storage rack (ref: 8788246)

Proper storage of cast-iron weight training discs

Load your dumbbell with two 2 kg (4.4 lb) cast-iron weights and start a set.

Shoulder exercise:
- Military press with dumbbells 3 x 10 reps

Keep a 2-rep margin at the end of each set.
Add reps as the weeks progress, then add weight, and start again with just 10 reps.
The advantage of these weights is that they allow you to adjust the load based on your needs and the muscle groups you’re working.

How much weight can you add to these dumbbells?

The weights are fastened to the threaded bar by a nut. This keeps them secure in any position. During dynamic workouts, check the nuts between each set, especially if you hear the weights knocking against one another. 
Minimal movement is normal and safe so that you can easily install weights onto the bar.

This dumbbells set is the perfect solution for storing your workout equipment! Simply place the dumbbell bars and their weights in the case and easily store it under a bed or in a cupboard. 
The case also makes it easy to transport the set.

There are a few simple things you can do to maintain your dumbbells set. Before storing your equipment in its case, wipe the bar and weights with a damp cloth.

How to look after your weighted vest

Complete 4 to 6 circuits with 0 to 2 minutes recovery time at the end of each circuit.- Beginners: 20 seconds exercise, 40 seconds recovery.

When should you use a soft massage roller?

To use a soft mobility roller for self-massage, use it on the area you want to work on.
