The PVC boots we offer here can be washed easily (inside and out) with water and a soapy solution. They also dry quickly. The mid-calf design, pull loops, and slide-in grooves allow you to pull these boots on and off easily. They also have a non-slip sole to reduce the risk of slipping on wet and muddy surfaces.

The main features of these ankle boots

We recommend that you choose your usual size. Indeed, no fabric inside the boot and therefore no additional thickness. A specific sole is available for this model (see Sole 100), which provides even more comfort, especially in winter. In these conditions, you can step into water puddles or walk in the rain and still feet dry.

The Land 100 rain boots are the lightest in our range (just 1.4 kg [2.9 lb] in size EU 43/44 [US 9.5/10]). You can walk for hours without your feet getting tired or keep them on your feet all day long while working around the house. Whether you wear them to walk through fields or along muddy, puddle-covered trails, these waterproof boots will protect you from the rain and keep your feet dry. Keep away from brambles, dense undergrowth and chemical products.

A must have for country living.

These boots aren’t made to take on brambles, dense undergrowth, or barbed wire. There’s a high risk the plastic may be torn in these harsh environments. They’re perfect for slight challenging muddy terrain without many brambles.

Restrictions on use

To keep your boots in good condition, clean them after each use with water and/or pH-neutral soap (avoid using hard brushes or abrasive sponges). Wipe dry with a cloth or let dry in a well-ventilated place away from heat sources. Store your boots upright, preferably in a well-ventilated dry place. It goes without saying that you can go in the water up to leg lenght.

How do you measure the grip?

This model comes in double sizes. It’s important to choose a size that fits snugly when you’re wearing your usual socks.
A boot that’s too big may not provide enough support or traction, and can cause chafing.

How to choose the right size

The top of the boot features a ridged strip that provides extra grip while you’re pulling it on.
The heel has a lug that you can push down to remove the boots easily, even while standing.

Easy to pull on and off

If water gets in through the top of the boot, remove the insole, rinse out the boot, and dry thoroughly by placing it upside down over a broom handle. Dry in a well-ventilated area. Turn the boot over and slip it onto a broomstick.

How to dry your boots

The boot’s collar may seem wide compared to your child’s calf. This is intentional. The collar should be roomy so your child can put their boots on without your help. The collar must leave enough space.
This design choice helps your child become more autonomous.

The resistance of a fabric is measured by the height of a water column in mm that can be supported by the fabric (test based on the ISO 1092 standard).The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with an impermeability of 5,000 mm will therefore withstand the pressure exerted by 5,000 mm of water (which corresponds roughly to a 1-hour downpour). Waterproofing is expressed in Schmerber units (for example: 5,000 Schmerbers). This number applies before washing.

A coating applied to the fabric makes it waterproof and windproof. Technically, a waterproof fabric is also windproof. Protection from the wind is critical, as wind can chill the body during physical activity.

This allows perspiration to escape during physical activity, preventing it from accumulating on the skin.

We measure a fabric’s resistance to water pressure in mm of water column (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure a fabric can withstand, the more waterproof it is.
Waterproofing ratings:
Component resistant to 5,000 mm water pressure before and after ageing (5 washes). This is equal to 5,000 Schmerber (the average pressure exerted during rainfall).
The trousers' waterproofing has been tested in a rain shower with 60 litres of water/m²/hour for 2 hrs

Waterproof properties

Rinse with clean water after use.
Store in a dry place.
Wash as infrequently as possible to protect the water-repellent treatment.
Wash inside out, pocket zipped, on the synthetics cycle (30°C–40°C) with regular detergent. Do not use fabric conditioner. Do not overload your machine. Run extra rinse.
Line dry.
To restore its water repellency, tumble dry inside out on the synthetics cycle for 10–15 min.

Care instructions
