Sun protection and new inner coating
UPF 50+ fabric blocks at least 95% of UVB and 98% of UVA rays. We’ve redesigned the interior with a white coating for optimal sun protection.
Sun exposure advice
This product is UV-resistant, but doesn’t provide total sun protection. Consider other factors like reflections (off water, sand, etc.), temperature, and time of day. You should also be sure to wear a UV-protection shirt, sunglasses, and a hat, apply sunscreen regularly, and plenty of drink water.
Wind resistance
The Paruv 160 parasol can withstand winds of up to 20 km/h when the tube is pushed 25cm into the sand. The screw-on orange foot, which is available separately, increases wind resistance by 10 km/h.
Parasol that can be inclined using the Tilt accessory, which is sold separately.
All the PARUV parasols can be inclined at 35° and 50° with the "Tilt incline paruv" accessory. This accessory is sold separately in Decathlon stores.
