I find these very useful (a) in pair, one for water and the other for electrolytes, and (b) in neoprene sleeves (amazon.ca / dp / B07TD7CBLX), placed on side pockets of the backpack. The lock is also useful to avoid accidental spils.

Broken latch - no warranty

The push button top was great when it worked. After roughly one year of using it for my kids school, the push button top no longer latches, so there is a gap and the top is completely useless. I have bought two of them, and one is no longer functioning. I checked with the w
arranty folks and they told me that I have misused it so it is not covered under warranty. I am not sure how I can misuse a push button top for the water bottle. This is not built to last - beware. Too bad there is no option to purchase the top separately. Now the entire bottle will go to the landfill.
